The day to day governance of 3BM is undertaken by the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) under the direction of the Managing Director (MD).
Lead Curriculum Advisor
Belinda is the educational computing consultant with more than 12 years’ experience in an advisory teacher role. She leads on curriculum training and developing the use of Computing in primary schools. She formerly worked in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea as a curriculum consultant, having previously been an advanced skills teacher (AST) working in schools across Greenwich and Lewisham.
Belinda was a primary classroom teacher for 16 years, teaching across the age ranges, with a main focus in the Early Years. She is a member of the London eSafety Board and CEOP Ambassador. She works closely with the LGfl Content Manager, writing supporting materials for schools and as a reviewer for Early Years and primary software.
Business Development Manager
Helen leads on 3BM’s company business development. She is also our strategic lead on educational computing matters and online safety and security for schools. Helen has more than 25 years’ experience in educational ICT at a strategic and advisory level. She was Head of ICT Support Services for 3BM during its ‘start-up’ year and formerly had this role in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, where she was involved with Capital builds/BSF, Data Management and all aspects of ICT for School Improvement.
She was formerly an ICT inspector and is an accredited ICT Mark Assessor. She has worked at a national level (for Becta) twice and been a BETT Award judge. She is a member of the LGfl Trust, the LGfl Content Editorial Board and the London eSafety Board.
Head of Building Services
John has 40 years’ experience in both the private sector construction industry and public sector asset management services. Prior to the formation of 3BM, John played a key role in LBHF schools asset management as the Capital Programme Manager for Children’s Services. Within this role he had responsibility for the School Organisation Strategy and delivery of the schools capital programme to implement the Councils Schools of Choice agenda, the Free School Programme, and planned preventative maintenance programme.
In recognition of his breadth of knowledge of the LBHF schools estate, and the management issues relating to the expansion and improvement of operational schools, John was seconded into the LBHF Building Schools for the Future team as Programme Manager of Estates and Resources.
Deputy Head of Building Services
Nick has 14 years’ experience in Architecture in both the public and private sectors. More recently in the past 7 Years Nick has focused on the Education sector taking projects from inception through to completion. Prior to the formation of 3BM, Nick was in Private practice taking a key role in implementing both the LSC and BSF funded education projects within Hammersmith and Fulham.
In the past 4 years Nick has taken a key role in addressing the School organisation strategy by developing land appraisals and feasibility strategies. Nick has also been Lead Architect, delivering key new build and refurbishment projects throughout the borough as part of LBHF Children’s Services School organisation strategy, namely as Queensmill Autistic School, completed August 2014.
Remi is a Charted Accountant who worked with the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham for over 10 years as the Strategic Accountant for Education and later the Financial Planning Lead for Schools Resources and Capital Programme. She has taken on the role of Finance Director and Company Secretary of 3BM.
She was previously a member of the CIPFA Statistics Working Group for Children’s Services. She has experience in both the public and private sectors and respected within her peer group.
Head of Executive Services
Samantha has worked in the public and private sectors for the last 25 years. Her main areas of expertise are Event Organisation, Project Management, Customer Service, HR and Quality Assurance. She leads on communication, marketing and our customer facing areas of the business, such as exhibitions and events.
She is our lead for Corporate Social Responsibility and is the head of our Apprenticeship and Work Placement Programme.
Head of Operations
Sean has over 25 years’ experience in delivering high quality support services to schools, mainly specialising in schools’ finance, although Sean has managed teams delivering ICT and MIS support to schools over the years. Sean is passionate about delivering excellent value for money services across the education sector.
Deputy Head of Operations
Vanessa has over 20 years’ experience of supporting and developing schools’ use of SIMS and has also provided finance and governance support. She plays a key role in developing assessment systems in schools to assist Senior Leadership Teams to track pupils’ attainment and progress. Vanessa is a long standing member of the SIMS London User Group and is one of the London representatives on the national SIMS Strategic Advisory Panel.
